Frequently Asked Questions

Will your office take my insurance?

Our office will submit your claims to your insurance company and assist you in any way we can with any questions you may have about your dental coverage. In most cases insurance companies remit payment directly to our office. We also accept government assisted plans such as ODSP, Ontario Works, Cinot, and Healthy Smiles.

Do you see children?

Absolutely. We cater to patients of all ages.

What services are available at your office?

We offer an incredibly wide variety of treatment options including teeth and denture cleaning, bleaching, fillings, and cosmetic treatment, root canals, extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth), crowns, bridges and implants, bone grafting, new dentures as well as repairs and additions to dentures.

Do you take emergencies and walk-ins?

We accommodate all patients in need and recommend that you call so that we can be prepared for your visit. We will see all emergencies same day.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking designated for our office.

Can I get an evening appointment?

We offer flexibility in our schedule by providing you with the convenience of morning, afternoon and evening appointments as well as Saturdays.

Do you offer sedation?

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation are both available, and we are happy to discuss other ways to make your appointment as comfortable as possible.

Do root canals hurt?

This is a common worry. It seems everyone knows someone who has a horror story about having had a root canal! Don’t be mislead! We routinely provide root canal treatment for patients and we can assure you that during the procedure you are VERY WELL FROZEN. Our experience has always been that patients are very happy with how painless the procedure is.

Do I need to be put under to have my wisdom teeth out?

Absolutely not. We routinely take out impacted wisdom teeth with freezing only. Our patients are well frozen and do not feel pain throughout the procedure.
