Dr. Durkot is, by her own admission, “passionate about providing patients the highest quality dental care”, and has indeed been doing so in southern Ontario for over 22 years, since her graduation from the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Toronto,
Besides attending enumerable continuing education seminars annually, Dr. Durkot maintains an instructional position as a Clinical Care Coordinator for senior students at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, a position she has proudly held for 10 years. Dr. Durkot is registered with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and maintains membership in the Ontario Dental Association, and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry.
A photography and classical music enthusiast, Dr. Durkot leads a very active lifestyle outside of the Dental realm, be it travelling, cycling or trekking on wilderness trips. Although even her travels lead back to dentistry at times, as Dr. Durkot has volunteered her dental services in Guatemala to help the underprivileged.
Dr. Durkot truly enjoys all aspects of the practice of family dentistry, but above all enjoys interacting with her patients. Her kindness and compassion for her patients, and passion for the profession, is immediately evident.
